TRACE Project Kick-Off: A Collaborative Start in the Heart of the Alps

From October 8th to 9th, 2025, the TRACE project officially launched with a dynamic kick-off event at the University of Innsbruck, set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Alps. The event brought together our project team from the Universities of Innsbruck and Bologna, as well as the Rhineland-Palatinate Center of Excellence for Climate Change Impacts.

Over two intensive days, the team focused on sharpening the project’s vision, exploring scientific frameworks, and fostering collaboration. Through stimulating discussions, intensive strategy and planning sessions, and shared meals, participants not only exchanged ideas but also built the foundation for a strong, cohesive partnership.

TRACE is a three-year initiative dedicated to developing innovative instructional materials and tools to address climate agency in the context of education. We are thrilled to embark on this journey together and look forward to a fruitful, inspiring, and transformative collaboration!
