TRACE at the General Assembly of the European Geosciences Union (EGU) in Vienna
At the EGU General Assembly 2026 in Vienna, the TRACE team presented first conceptual ideas of the project in the form of a poster.
Among other aspects, the poster introduced the general idea of the project as well as initial approaches of the TRACE Self-Reflection Tool, which aims to make different forms of individual and collective climate action visible and open to reflection. The poster led to many engaging discussions with researchers from the fields of geosciences, climate change, and sustainability research.
Particularly interesting were the exchanges on how learning opportunities can support learners in connecting (scientific) understanding with reflected possibilities for action, as well as discussions about the challenges of conceptualizing agency. We are very happy about the strong interest in the poster and the inspiring international exchange during the EGU.
