Meet the team: Melissa Meier

Melissa Meier is a first-year pre-doctoral researcher at the University of Innsbruck, working at the intersection of science and political education with a focus on education for sustainable development (ESD). Her research examines how science teachers handle political and controversial questions in their teaching against the background of legal frameworks. In previous research, she used Q methodology to explore students’ views on sustainability competences in science education.
