Giulia Tasquier is Associate Professor in Physics Education at the Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Bologna. Her research expertise includes designing and implementing innovative teaching materials on modern physics and socio-scientific issues, particularly climate change and sustainability; exploring the relationship between knowledge, behaviour, and agency in climate change education; developing strategies, tools, and activities to transform scientific knowledge into transversal skills and future-oriented competences; and working on epistemological models and modelling in physics. Her work also addresses the role of science education in engaging with complexity and informed participation in societally relevant issues. She is also experienced in open-schooling approaches.
